The number of elderly and vulnerable people living alone and isolated at home is increasing. Current models aimed at meeting the security needs of these groups are in very early stages.
The Innolab equipment will be used to create three simulation scenarios: a home, a room in a social-health centre and clinical consultation space.
These scenarios will be aimed at testing and pilot testing with the objective of improving communication and safety for the most vulnerable groups. In addition, these spaces will be at the service of entities, companies, professionals, teachers and students, adopting a person-centred care model (PCA). Innloab’s equipment is complemented with the operation of sensorizing homes (real environment) in order to improve the care of elderly people living alone.
Innolab. Creation of 3 simulation scenarios: a conventional home or domicile, a room in a nursing home or social-health centre and a workspace for meetings and individual and group clinical consultations.
Sensorization of homes for vulnerable groups: implementation of sensorisation and social robotics in homes (real environment) in order to contribute to improving the current model of care for people living alone as well as for those who are institutionalised in resources centers for the elderly, with particular emphasis on safety and communication.
