Representative entity
Ajuntament de Mataró, representative entity of the PECT, is responsible for the general coordination, justification and dialogue with the Generalitat during the project life. As an entity representing the public sector, the City Council aims at positioning its territory by generating innovation, economic activity and social cohesion.
Beneficiary partner entities
The Fundació TecnoCampus is a private foundation with a public service vocation in education and business development, promoted by the Ajuntament de Mataró and the Consell Comarcal del Maresme to manage the TecnoCampus science and innovation park and the three university centres that comprise it. The Fundació Maresme is a non-profit social initiative entity that promotes and encourages social inclusion and the improvement of the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities in the Maresme region and their families. The Foundation, qualified as a welfare charity, tries to respond to the needs and demands of this group by organising a wide network of services and centres that offer continuous care.
The Fundació Eurecat is an organisation resulting from the merger of several technology centres and science parks located in Catalonia, set up in 2015 on the initiative of the Government of Catalonia with the aim of creating a large-scale technology centre that could compete at a global level. It is a member of TECNIO and participates in more than 160 national and international projects.
Non Beneficiary partner entities
The Consell Comarcal del Maresme, as a supra-municipal administration at the service of the municipalities and the citizens, has a high level of involvement and territorial connectivity with the region and the municipalities that make it up.
It is the administration responsible for the provision of basic social services in those municipalities that delegate the competence and in the area of specialization of the PECT it has its own portfolio of services in the field of care for dependency and home care.
The Fundació TIC Salut Social, located in the business park TecnoCampus, is an organization of the Generalitat de Catalunya that works to promote the development and use of ICT. It promotes networking in the fields of health and social welfare, acting as an observatory of new trends, innovation and emerging initiatives, and offering standardization and product certification services.
